Fees And Rebates

Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates are now available for a range of clinically diagnosable disorders (see below). To obtain the rebate, individuals need to be referred by a general practitioner, psychiatrist or paediatrician. The rebate is available for up to 10 individual sessions and/or 10 group sessions per year.

Other Health Fund Rebates

Many private health funds provide extra cover that includes rebates for psychological services. Depending upon the health fund, you may be eligible for rebates for both individual and group therapy. These rebates significantly reduce the cost of your treatment. If you are unsure what your entitlements are, please contact your health fund for further information.
